Grandmothers are important to their grandchildren. But did you know they are also an important part of human history? The upcoming picture book, The Grandmother Effect by author Beth Bacon is a story about the many wonders of grandmothers. It’s a heartwarming book to be shared among grandmothers and their grandkids. But what makes this book so different, is that this story also includes some STEM concepts that explain the how scientists have discovered the important the effect that grandmothers have had on our human species over many thousands of years.
