- Kids are the reason I write and it’s so rewarding to hear their thoughts.
- Teachers get the chance to ask questions — and their questions always make me think.
- Research shows, after a school visit, students are more eager to read for pleasure.
- For kids who have a tiny hope that they might want to become an author one day, I love to encourage that dream.
- For kids who never before thought of becoming an author, maybe they will be inspired to go for it.
- Students give me lots of great ideas for my next books!
