Congratulations are in order to all the medical researchers who have been—and still are—working so hard to stem the COVID-19 pandemic. Our book, COVID-19 Helpers has a page that states “one day researchers will find a cure.” When I wrote that text, the idea was more of a wish than something that I knew would actually come to be. Now here we are, seven months later with the first inoculations being rolled out to healthcare workers and vulnerable populations. We have all waited so long for this sign of hope.
