Did you ever wonder what it might feel like to be the 7th letter of the alphabet? Our friend, the letter “g” is sick of being stuck somewhere in the middle. He wants to see what it’s like being first! But when he makes the suggestion, the letter “a” will have none of it. “a” just doesn’t want to give up her primo-spot. With his friends “e” and “z,” the letter “g” pushes the issue — and almost destroys reading! Oh yeah, the stakes are that high!

This book is a collaboration with my friend and author Karen Kane. Then HarperCollins decided to publish it. Soon they brought on the fantastic illustrator Eric Barclay to bring the visuals to life.
