The National Council of Teachers of English is an organization that allows teachers to collaborate and connect about the many issues facing English Teachers. One big topic is literacy. So I was thrilled to discover that I Hate Reading was a Featured New Release at the recent NCTE conference.  Teachers of language arts are starting to give a lot of thought to—and generate new techniques for teaching—those students who are reluctant to read. I Hate Reading is a big part of this new push to honor the experience of all readers. Thanks @harperkids for sharing my book with English teachers!
