Read Into The New Year

Jan 3, 2019

Happy New Year! It’s now 2019 and as I look to the months ahead, I’m happy to share that I’m working on several new books. My process is pretty flexible, so I can’t say definitely what they’re about. Like my other books, these will be designed for kids who don’t like to read. But as I move forward, I’m also inspired by other issues that are common in today’s first- second- and third-grade classrooms.

No matter what my books turn out to look like, my goal remains to help teachers and parents encourage a love of reading while providing fun and engaging experiences for kids. That means lots of wild new graphics. New kinds of interactivity. Bold new storylines. And, well, here’s a sneak peek.

These images are rough, rough, rough… but I’m happy to share them with you. What do you think? Contact me with your thoughts, feedback, and wishes for extensions to my book series for reluctant readers.
