Thank you, Imagine Children’s Museum!

Aug 10, 2018

Recently, I paid a visit to the Discovery Club Summer Reading Program at the Imagine Children’s Museum in Everett, Washington. This is a summer program for first and second graders who need a little boost in their reading skills.

With the kids, I read books, talked about reading and writing, and had a ball! It’s great meeting the kids and interacting with them… and watching them listen, sing, and act out my books. As I spoke with the staff there and got some great ideas for an upcoming book!

Soon after my visit I received in the mail two lovely thank you notes from the team.

I love doing visits at schools, libraries, and kids organizations. Contact me if you’d like to schedule a visit with the kids in your community.

Special message to the Imagine Children’s Museum kids and staff: Thank YOU for inviting me to the Discovery Club Summer Reading Program!
